SERVICE DISRUPTION
WE ARE EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
Please stand by…

The Lothal Media Broadcast Organization is currently experiencing technical difficulties.  At this time, only audio broadcasts are possible, and only via the emergency broadcast channel.  We apologize for this disruption in service and for any inconvenience that it may cause.

Early this morning, a Loth-cat was seen chasing a Loth-rat into one of our network’s main transmission towers.  Security personnel followed the wild animals into the central data processing center of the tower.  Unfortunately, it was in that location that the creatures engaged in their final confrontation.

Due to recently enacted laws aimed at protecting wildlife, security personnel were unable to intervene, as the confrontation between the animals caused significant collateral damage to the tower’s data processing equipment.

Eventually, the Loth-rat was electrocuted by damaged power cables.  The Loth-cat seemed to lose interest in the Loth-rat upon its death, and left the data processing center unscathed.

The Loth-cat calmly strode past firefighters as they arrived to contain a fire sparked by the electrocution of the Loth-rat, which ignited the Loth-rat’s corpse and spread flames to debris in the area, which later ignited other flammable materials throughout the data processing center.

The Loth-cat exited the tower, stopped in front of a pair of security guards to briefly bathe itself, and then hissed and gestured hostilely toward the guards before fleeing back into the wilderness.

The fire was contained to the central data processing center, and was fully extinguished within the hour, but most of the equipment in the central data processing center was either destroyed or heavily damaged, rendering the transmission tower inoperable, disrupting the entire network and leading to this current disruption of service.

Stay tuned for further updates.
